Welcome to Watsonville and the beautiful Pajaro Valley! We are a very diverse, multicultural community with a wide variety of business opportunities. Agriculture and ag related industry is the primary economic driver in our community, however, in addition to agriculture, many national and world wide companies call Watsonville their home. We have a wide variety of large and small retail, manufacturing, and high tech companies here too.
The Pajaro Valley Unified School District is the largest district in the county, and we have a great satellite campus for Cabrillo College here as well.
We have a great website at
www.pajarovalleychamber.com. With interactive properties navigation is simple, so you can locate exactly what you want quickly.
As an advocate for business and agriculture, we work at monitoring local, state and Federal legislation, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors and governing institutions.
We continue to offer networking opportunities in the form of After-Hour-Mixers hosted by our member businesses and the Women in Business, and Lunch and Learn series provide excellent experience and education at the lunch hour. The Ambassadors Committee is a very good source for networking.
Our Business and Education Committee is a great blend of educators and business owners working together to ensure that the quality of education meets the employment needs of the valley. This committee aims to develop programs and activities that integrate the business world into the students’ educational experience and provide more qualified employees to the businesses
Our Tourism Committee mission includes exposing the world to the rich variety of reasons to visit the Pajaro Valley. The International draw of the Monterey Bay Birding Festival, Strawberry Festival, Watsonville Fly-In and Airshow, Santa Cruz County Fair, a wonderful Historical District and a large variety of farm fresh produce several of which are pick yourself family fun. There is a large variety of activities year round in our community. Come visit one of the most beautiful places in California.
Whether you are looking for ways to improve or expand your business, start a new one, or just come to visit the beautiful beaches, wetlands and mountains of the Pajaro Valley, we at the Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture are ready to help any way we can.
