MediCal patients are accepted, and those without insurance pay on a sliding scale. Urgent Care provides patients with urgent access to general medical care. While it is not meant to replace ER services, it does offer our patients immediate access to the services provided at SCMC. Minor injuries, fractures, most infection-related conditions, and the whole array of general medical problems that would typically be handled by your general physician. Access to laboratory, radiographic, and other ancillary services are available. Emergent referrals to the clinic's specialty physicians can also be arranged when appropriate. No appointment is necessary.
