Fed by underground streams, drought resistant Pinto Lake is stocked with large-mouth bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie. It's a great place to spend an afternoon, fishing, sailing or paddle-boating.
Sunset State Beach

At the south end of Santa Cruz County stretches 306 acres of Sunset State Beach. About 18,000 ocean front linear feet of the beach extends to the mouth of the Pajaro River, forming the southern boundary of Sunset State Beach. Also flowing through the beach is Watsonville Slough, a principal tributary of the river and an area with abundant wildlife.

Founded by a group of energetic volunteers, the Pajaro Valley Arts Council encourages all forms of local art and art education. Since its inception in 1984, the PVAC has facilitated numerous concerts, dances, drama performances and gallery exhibits. Educational programs for children have included art and music classes and the completion of a large public mural.

The Center is an 838-seat state-of-the-art professional performance facility, offering a community center for musical productions, dramas, artistic venues, seminars, and events for large audience participation. The Pajaro Valley Performing Arts Association is responsible for the management of the Center for all aspects of production acquisition and scheduling.
