The Santa Cruz County Office of Education is seeking county residents interested in being part of the 12th annual cohort of Inside Education, a program that provides unique insights into what, and who, make up local public education, from preschool to Cabrillo College.

There is no charge to take part, and participation includes meals, transportation (from the COE in Santa Cruz) to many sites, programs, and schools throughout the county

Each month, Sept.-May, Inside Education meets (for about a half day) to shine the light on many topics often overlooked or misunderstood, such as Special Education, Charter Schools, Alternative Education, Career Technical Education, the role of the County Office, and single-school districts.  There are eight meetings in all, excluding the months of December and April.

To learn more about this unique program, please contact Les Forster, Inside Education Coordinator at the COE: lforster@santacruzcoe.org; (831) 246-0988. Registration materials and dates for the 2019-20 cohort will be available soon.
