Slavic American Cultural Organization

The Slavic American Cultural Organization is a non-profit corporation established in Watsonville in 1979 to bring together the Slavic community of the former Republics of Yugoslavia which are Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia for social and recreational purposes and to instill in the membership a pride in the cultural heritage, traditions and contributions of the Slavic Americans in Santa Cruz County. A large percentage of the local current and active members have a Croatian heritage.
